A $100-class plan showed a zero payment, but cancellation was essential
Kiro, AWS’s AI coding tool, offered new users a credit that covered the prorated Pro Max charge from signup day to the end of September 2026. On the recorded checkout screen, the subtotal was ₩8,592, tax was ₩862, and a new-user balance of -₩9,454 reduced the immediate payment to ₩0.
The important condition was renewal. Leaving the plan unchanged could trigger a charge of roughly ₩150,000 from October 1. The safe order was: confirm the zero payment, immediately schedule a change to the Free plan, and then confirm that the next expected payment showed US$0.00.

Recorded process
- Sign up for Kiro and select Pro Max only after confirming that the amount due today is zero.
- Go to Settings → Account → Manage plan → Update subscription.
- Select Kiro Free and continue. The change should be scheduled for the next billing date.
- Confirm a next payment of US$0.00 before closing the page.
- Install the Kiro app and use only the remaining promotional period.
User reports said Opus 5.5 was available, while Fable was not. Model availability varied by account and was not guaranteed.

반드시 확인했던 순서
- 결제 화면에서 오늘 지불 금액 0원 확인
- 설정 → 계정 → 요금제 관리 → 구독 업데이트
- Kiro Free 선택 후 다음 결제일부터 변경되도록 예약
- 다음 예상 결제 금액 US$0.00 확인
해지 예약을 하지 않으면 10월 1일부터 약 15만 원이 자동 결제될 수 있는 조건이었습니다. Opus 5.5는 사용할 수 있다는 후기가 있었지만 Fable은 제공되지 않았고, 계정마다 모델이 다를 수 있었습니다. 현재 이용자는 반드시 최신 약관과 실제 결제 화면을 확인해야 합니다.
